Flu Clinics
|
Influenza can cause days of fever, chills, cough, sore throat, head and muscle aches, and even hospitalization. The IMUnization Clinic salutes employers, churches, and community organizations that strive to protect the health and well-being of our fellow Houstonians.
Flu clinics can be set-up at any facility or organization upon request, for a nominal charge. Flu shots are $30.00 and are currently available. Give us a call at 281-260-6600 and any member of our professional staff can assist with requests.
| Meningitis "Meni" Camps
|
Once high school seniors graduate and leave for college life it means meeting new people, as well as new health risks. The IMUnization Clinic is promoting a new campaign for high school seniors and freshman college students called H.E.A.T.L.H.Y Habits [Heed, Evaluate, and Act, so you can Live in Total Harmony with Yourself]. The program is intended to promote two forms of protection, (1) good health habits and (2) vaccination to reduce risk of serious illness.
"Meni" Camps are 2 hour immunization clinics specifically for high school seniors and freshman college students to provide meningitis and other necessary vaccinations needed before or immediately upon entering college. The clinics are conducted on-site at the high school or college campus on a designated Friday. For more information or to schedule a Friday for your school, give us a call at 281-260-6600 and speak with our customer service/marketing associate.
| Drug and Alcohol Testing
|
The most common reasons employers implement drug and alcohol testing are to:
1. Deter employees from abusing drugs and alcohol, 2. Prevent hiring individuals who use illegal drugs, 3. Provide early identification and referral of employees who have drug and/or alcohol problems, 4. Provide a safe workplace for employees, and 5. Ensure general public safety and instill consumer confidence that employees are working safely.
The IMUnization Clinic offers a full line of lab based and instant drug testing services. 5, 6, and 10 panel D.O.T./Non-D.O.T. oral, urine, and hair drug screens are offered, as well as instant D.O.T./Non-D.O.T. breath alcohol testing. Positive drug screens are confirmed by a certified Medical Review Officer.
On-site testing and 24 on-call availability are available for a nominal fee.
